 From October 2008 till March 2009 the room of the National Historical Museum housed the international exhibition “Ukraine – Suede. On Crossroads of History, the late 17th – early 18th centuries”.

 The MHTU organized in October 2008 the temporary exhibition of Contemporary Jewelry Art. There were exposed 63 oeuvres by Yuriy Kochubeyev, artist jeweler from Donetsk.

 The temporary exhibition room of the MHTU presented in October – December 2008 the personal exhibition of two contemporary artist Volodymyr Balyberdin and Halyna Diuhovska.

At the museums’ festival the MHTU presented the digital catalogue of “The Scythian Tumuli in Dnipropetrovsk Land”. It was appreciated so that its creators got the Steppe Baba trophy as a well-merited recognition of their work.
