Electronic report after the temporary exhibition displayed in two rooms. The first was devoted to the 18th-19th-centuries Theotokos icons (24 exhibits from the NHMU), and   the church objects (9 enameled medallions, 2 Gospels in silver-gilt covers, and a silver lampion from the MHTU). The second showed the contemporary icons (14 from the Sumy Trinity icon workshop, 36 from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra iconographic and restoration workshop, and 14 from the Palekh Icon School).

Study of an interesting archaeological monument from the Early Scythian period. The tumulus was excavated near the village of Ivankovychi in Kyiv Dnipro land in 1994. It’s one of the greatest Scythian tumuli in Western Mid-Dnipro forest-steppe which remaining height was 7 meters, so at origin it could be 10m high with diameter more than 60m. Remnant objects date from the late 7th – early 6th century

Shield of the Torah -Tass in Hebrew or Tzitz in Yidish - is one of the ceremonial things in the synagogue. This silver plaque-shaped offering by a certain Jewish family is fixed near the Scroll of the Law as a kind of ornament.

The MHTU houses the Silver Judaica collection with 105 Torah shields – that is considered to be the greatest collection of the Torah shields in the world.

Mostly created in Galicia, Volhynia and Podolia, but also in Berlin, Kyiv, Odessa, Vienna, Zolotonosha and others, these silver works represent traditional goldsmithery from the 18th - early 20th centuries.

The Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine has the rich collection of Scythian Gold. This digital catalogue represents description of 56 Scythian tumulus with 110 burials dated by VI – III century BCE excavated in Dnipropetrovs’k region of Ukraine
